Eurokleis is participating in the E! LEILAS project: "Language-based Entity Identification for Location Aware Services", applied research to the identification and normalisation of geographic entities. The project will develop a technology through which geographical entities (city, address ...) in the web documents will be automatically recognised and assigned through their spatial coordinates.

Innovation is a key element of the E!Leilas project, represented by the elaboration of multi-natural languages and by the development of semantic technologies for the identification of geographical entities in texts, together with their integration within the geographic information system. The final scope of the project is to increase the precision and clarity in the early stages of identification and localization.

E! Leilas will also propose various innovative services that exploit the high potentiality offered by Web 2.0, exploring and developing new methods for the perception of business and users' information. 

Within this project, Eurokleis is in charge of an extensive market and business services' analysis, in order to develop a better understanding of market needs and use of the platform, as well as identifying the most effective means for the exploitation and dissemination of products. Eurokleis will also contribute to the development of ontologies, analysis of texts for interactions between users and the development of the web portal.
